La Voz Comunitaria de Tacoma.
In 2017, a small group of community leaders in Tacoma had the opportunity to redesign an online radio station and give it a new purpose. What emerged was a low-cost platform dedicated to sharing important events and amplifying conversations around social justice, culture, and community well-being.
What began with just five people has grown into a vibrant community radio station with 33 participants producing 15 weekly programs — both live and recorded — offering a diverse mix of music and voices for audiences in and beyond Tacoma, streaming 24/7.
